Qin Bing arrives again, and BYD Qin L’s preview map is released.
Recently, BYD Auto officially released the latest preview of its brand-new mid-size car, Qin L. As the absolute flow in the field of family cars recently, BYD Qin PLUS’s myth of 79,800 yuan has become a mudslide in the new energy market, disrupting the whole pace of domestic cars and joint venture cars, and the monthly sales of 50,000 units are even more numb. This time, BYD pursued the victory and launched the Qin L model. The new car will be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show. As the latest model of BYD’s "Qin" series, Qin L got rid of the cheaper style orientation of Qin models as a whole, and instead inherited the family’s so-called "Longyan" aesthetic design, quite like a little BYD Han. The new car also has some breakthroughs in the power system.
In the preview, we can see the outline of Qin L. In the front part, the air intake grille is as huge as a dragon’s mouth, and the dot-matrix design details set off the central "Qin" logo, which embodies its brand characteristics. The LED headlights on both sides are slender and sharp like "longan", which improves the recognition of the whole vehicle to some extent.
On the side of the car body, the lines of Qin L are smooth and concise, and the slightly downward sloping roof is combined with the segmented waistline to create a dynamic feeling that is ready to go. The window frame is decorated with chrome trim strips, which improves the texture of the whole vehicle. In the rear part, the classic "Chinese knot" shape is adopted inside the penetrating taillight group, which echoes the luminous "BYD" logo and adds a touch of oriental aesthetic charm.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Qin L are 4830/1900/1495mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2790 mm. The size data is superior in mid-level cars of the same class, which can ensure more spacious space in the car.
In terms of power performance, Qin L is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and a motor. The maximum power of the engine is 74 kW, and the maximum power of the motor reaches 160 kW, which can ensure the cruising range of traditional fuel vehicles, and the power output is believed to be not weak.
The 5th-generation DM-i hybrid system carried by Qin L is the latest generation super hybrid system independently developed by BYD. "Advertising" will achieve a qualitative leap in performance and economy. Whether Qin L equipped with this latest power system can lead the new energy future like Qin Bing’s fierce soldier remains to be tested by the market.
In addition, Qin L also matched a battery pack with a maximum capacity of 15.874 kWh, with a pure electric cruising range of up to 90 kilometers. This kind of cruising range can meet the needs of daily commuting and short-distance travel while reducing the cost of users’ cars.
With the approaching of Beijing Auto Show, more news about BYD Qin L is gradually being released. Che Jianjun believes that BYD Qin L will further enrich BYD’s share in market segments and effectively bridge the market gap between Qin and Han. Regarding its future price, it is reported that it will be more than 120,000 yuan. Does this price meet your expectations and budget for this mid-size car?
