Wang Yi, a member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, told the reporter of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference on the phone that during the Spring Festival this year, she was also very busy at home, preparing educational materials for Yi ‘er School, and then using WeChat and Weibo to open a school.
Wang Yi is a famous expert in dietotherapy and nutrition in China. She has a family history. She was exposed to "Tang Tou Ge Ji" since she was a child. The fruits, vegetables, melons and trees in the song are full of poetic connotations, and also contain many traditional cultures in China. Therefore, she especially hopes that children can learn Tangtou songs from an early age and learn about China’s traditional Chinese medicine culture.
For years, she has been preparing.
According to Wang Yi, in the spring of 2003, she stayed at home with her son and read him The Story of Colored Paintings in the Summer Palace Promenade every day. The book described the location of colored paintings in the Summer Palace in detail, vividly reproduced all kinds of colored paintings on the promenade with colorful pictures, and described the stories implied by all kinds of colored paintings in vivid language, which ran through the 5,000-year history of China. After reading the story, she took the children to the promenade to find the corresponding color map, so that the children could tell the story on the spot. "It was through reading during that time that the children’s thirst for knowledge was mobilized and their son’s interest in reading ancient books was cultivated. What our parents should do is to give their children a key, open a window, and let their children broaden their horizons … … The virus creates an epidemic, and we have warmth. " It was based on the extraordinary companionship in that extraordinary period that Wang Yi came up with the idea of spreading China traditional culture to children.
During the two sessions in 2019, her idea was recognized and supported by Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Committee members Liu Yan and Liu Ru. After the two sessions, Liu Yan invited linguist Shi Guo for the purpose of "the significance and construction of cultural education" and jointly launched the project of "Cultural Education Herbal Nursery Rhymes" initiated by four Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Committee members. After several months of preparation, it has been implemented in many kindergartens in Beijing, and the response is good.
On January 30, 2020, Wang Yi uploaded a recorded "Yin and Yang Ballad" to the Internet, which was welcomed by parents and children. In the video, Wang Yi explained while reciting: Yin and Yang change regularly, and the sky and the earth have essence; Follow nature and worry less, and children should remember it. Children, the changes of yin and yang are easy to understand. Like the sun setting, the moon will rise, and the sky will be dark and bright. This is the law. There is essence in the sky and the earth, that is to say, there is magnetism and electricity between heaven and earth. This magnetism and electricity are energy, which we can’t see with our eyes, can’t catch with our hands, and can’t smell with our noses. In ancient China, it was called "essence". They are very important, whether animals and flowers, or people. This song "Ballad of Yin and Yang" conveys the idea that human beings should conform to nature, know nature, make use of nature and not oppose nature. "Nature is like a mother, you must remember it." Wang Yi said to the children.
Wang Yi sent the first lesson "Liu Xuande leads the people across the river" just compiled and uploaded to reporters, and said with a smile, I believe that when many people walk in the promenade of the Summer Palace, they will often be amazed by the superb skills of the painters, and they will also have the distress of not knowing the story of the characters in the paintings. This is one of many colorful paintings on the promenade of the Summer Palace in Beijing. It is a story in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. "It can provide traditional cultural and educational materials for children when they stay at home."
Wang Yi said that the story in this colorful painting tells that Liu Bei led his troops to Fancheng, and Cao Cao personally led an army to kill him. Liu Bei’s troops were outnumbered, so he had to abandon Fancheng to cross the Hanshui River and retreat to Xiangyang. Fancheng people help the old and carry the young with them. For a time, the banks of Hanshui River cried endlessly. When Liu Bei saw this scene, he cried, "What face do I have to live in the world because I have caused so much trouble to the people alone!" After that, I will throw myself into the river. Hug around quickly. When they saw this, they burst into tears. Liu Bei urged Guan Yu to hurry the boat and cross the river quickly. It was not until all the people crossed the river that Liu Bei got on his horse and left. The fact that Liu Bei led the people across the river won the hearts of the people, and he was loved by the people wherever he went!

"It’s safe to stay at home, but what about children playing mobile phones and games all day?" In response to some parents’ requests for help, Wang Yi suggested: "We can use this time to get along with each other day and night to cultivate parent-child feelings, and we can also cultivate our interest in China traditional culture together with our children, which will not only narrow the distance between us, but also help to establish a smooth parent-child communication mechanism. In a word, just try to make good use of this special holiday. Of course, the wisdom of parents is very important, which is also a manifestation of family education. "
Wang Yi said frankly that when staying at home, people’s spirit is easy to relax, especially when children are not bound by schools and teachers, and it is easy to immerse themselves in video games. In the critical period of the SARS epidemic in 2003, Wang Yi took advantage of that time at home to accompany his son warmly, and at the same time, he also stimulated his son’s interest in China traditional culture.
"China’s traditional culture is profound and all-encompassing, such as Chinese medicine culture. If you want to tell your children about Huangdi Neijing, you can’t read it according to the book. The language in ancient books is a little obscure for children. It should be expressed in plain language that children can understand. Nursery rhymes are the most suitable. " Taking Huangdi Neijing as an example, Wang Yi introduced to reporters how to let children know Huangdi Neijing.
"In ancient times, there was the Yellow Emperor. I am curious about life. Please call the teacher Qi Bo. Huangdi has questions, and the teacher will answer them. Children should remember that they should — — Prison — — Remember! " Wang Yi believes that this form of nursery rhymes is conducive to children’s understanding and memory, and is more conducive to the popularization of traditional culture.
This Spring Festival caught up with the epidemic in COVID-19 again. Using this time, Wang Yi reorganized the representative color pictures and stories in The Story of Colored Paintings in the Summer Palace Promenade, and put them online one after another. She hoped that children could learn more about Chinese traditional culture while learning and sharing.
"Chinese culture has a source, and the Book of Changes is also called the head of the group. For the wisdom of future generations, it cannot be lost from generation to generation. " After reciting the nursery rhyme "Book of Changes" gently, Wang Yi said: "Every family has different educational ideas. It is suggested that parents can create a warm time and engage in some meaningful activities when they are with their children. You can learn about Chinese traditional culture together, including Chinese medicine, four-season solar terms, etc., and spend your time at home effectively and happily. " (Hao Xue)
